This was our first long river cruise which we chose for the itinerary and we had heard good things about Emerald. Super, obliging staff; a newer ship well appointed; bicycles on board; tasty and generous but not gourmet food; generous wine and beer with meals; useful tours included; amusing evening cultural and fun programmes. etc. All this plus the stops ensured a very successful holiday. And just for ref, I am pretty critical of service delivery so this very positive review is the best I have ever offered!
