After cruising the upper part of the Danube we wanted to see from Budapest downwards. The places were very interesting however some of the tour guides need to interpret the history of the countries better and what is actually interesting as opposed to boring and more like a history lesson at school. On one occasion it took the coach about and hour and a half to get to the place we were going to and all the way there the tour guide was literally lecturing on the history of the country from their prospective. Needless to say on the way back the same again - not necessary. Also from the boat to Bucharest took a matter of 7 hours to get there in a hot barely unconditioned coach which could have taken a lot less.
Included in some of the visits meals were included off the boat which we excellent especially the home visit and lunch with a Croatian family.
