The most negative part of the cruise was the meet and greet at the airport, on arrival in Athens the Emerald representative was nowhere to be found. There were 10 people on the flight from the UK and we stood outside arrivals waiting for an Emerald rep, eventually she was found at the other end of the airport wait by the wrong arrivals gate. We were then told we were waiting for another flight from France after 60 minutes in a very hot airport we were taken to the bus and told to wait, 30 minutes later still waiting. Finally set off for a transfer which took about an hour, arrived at the port took covid test and finally on the boat, by this time we had been travelling for 8 hours. Missed lunch on the boat, reported the issue to the Emerald team and would have expected some kind of response, 4 days into the cruise asked what feedback had come from management, answer zero.

The ship was magnificent, the crew worked really hard, the food was excellent, the included trips were average.

At the end if the trip a feedback form was given to all guests other than the meet and greet the only other thing that could do with beening addressed was the timings in the restaurant which closed service at 9.00 for breakfast and 13.30 for lunch which was in my opinion too early .
