Just returned from the holiday.
Actual port of embarkation was Giurgiu, near Bucharest, Romania but this was not an option on the Cruise Critic drop down menu, Budapest was where we disembarked.
This was our fifth river cruise and the first with Emerald. This cruise was excellent. Emerald looked after us extremely well and the service, be it from the cabin stewards, reception, bar service, restaurant and anywhere else was exemplary. We could not have asked for any better.
Cabin Review
Very well appointed and comfortable. Personal safe, enough sockets (European type) for charging phones, cameras, etc, nice shower with plenty of hot water, alarm clock. A bit limited on hanging space. We don't spend much time in our cabin so the lower deck cabins are fine for our needs.
