Wanted to try out cruising for the first time so choose cruise from Southampton to Norwegian Fjords. Chose Princess Cruises as modern ship with medallion technology and going at the right time of year.

Princess still have issues with the phone app - doesn’t always work and virtually impossible to upload any documents to it from an iPhone. The physical medallion works really well, access to cabins, checking on and off the ship and ordering drink too.

Staff were all amazing, shows virtually all of West End standard and the food in the 3 bookable restaurants of superb standard. Also the Alfredo’s pizza restaurant very good but can’t book. Plenty of choice in the World Fresh Market and the International Cafe very good for sandwich or hot panini. Read more
