Very disappointing. Think carefully about booking until improvements are made.

Sail Date: Jun 2022

Food bland and poor quality. We normally eat in the MDR as we see this as part of our holiday. However, food was average, fish dishes grey and watery and most dishes bulked out with rice and very few vegetables. Meats were generally tough.

The café lacked quality and some items were served in small plastic cups i.e. 4 small pieces of fruit, 4 spoonful’s of yogurt or muesli per cup. I am not a bit eater but found myself juggling 4 -5 small cups on a plate (no trays provided) just to have a small breakfast.

Despite the Captain saying Princess were using an “abundance of caution”, very little was being done on ship and on tenders to reduce the risk of covid infections, until day 10 when mandatory mask wearing was put in place. Too late. We had already been crammed onto tender boats. These were poorly maintained and broke down mid journey. We waited over 3 hours for a tender in Kirkwall. Many missed this port and their excursions.
