This was our second time on Celebrity, and first time to Alaska. No cruises for the past two years due to COVID, and we were happy to be back! This was a great decision for us as we cruised out of and returned to our home-town Vancouver BC. No flights, no hotels, no stress!

Embarkation: Check in on-line and upload of documentation was fairly easy. Once at the terminal we had very minimal wait, easily completed the rest of the process and voila - all aboard within 1/2 hour of arrival! Note that we had printed and attached bag tags at home, so the drop was easy for us but there was a HUGE line-up for those that needed tags.

Room: Deck 9 Category 1B, just forward of the hump, was comfortable and clean. Loads of hangars in the closet, enough drawer and shelving space, and a larger than expected bathroom. More electric plugs would be helpful but we managed with a multi-USB adapter to charge our electronics. Would definitely book this category again. Room attendant Lesley was excellent: friendly, helpful, efficient and unobtrusive. Wish we had footstools on the balcony to go with the chairs, but understand there is not a lot of extra room for them either.
