We chose Scenic Cruises because we have travelled with them before. Our first cruise was from Budapest to Amsterdam, and it was beyond our wildest dreams. We have always wanted to see Portugal so when we found out about this cruise, we immediately booked it. And once again, everything was perfect.

From the minute we stepped onto the Azure we were warmly welcomed. We were guided to our suite by our personal butler and given a detailed introduction to everything available to us on board. Our suite was spacious and beautifully appointed. There was a small exercise room available, along with lovely spa.

The service we received was impeccable; the food and beverage all five-star; and the daily excursions beautifully curated. All of our Scenic guides were extremely knowledgeable about each location. All of our transports were luxury, air-conditioned coaches. The ship took extraordinary Covid precautions with cleanliness and sanitation every leg of the journey. The onboard events were always well planned and entertaining. Everything about this cruise was delightful and we plan to sail with Scenic River Cruises every chance we get.
