I have been on two other cruises in my life but this was my fiance's first. I planned it with great detail so his time aboard would be enjoyable. As I was planning he commented to me " The room is only where we sleep, who cares how big it is" hmmm I thought, you have NO IDEA how important it will be. I will break this down into categories beginning with the Room first. Room---Because I had stayed in a Inside Cabin on a cruise to Hawaii I knew I did not want that type of cabin EVER again. In all honesty, I have been in Walk-in Closets that are larger. I just need more space. I bring lots of clothes and like to come back and relax in my room to get away. I LOVED LOVED LOVED our Penthouse Suite, it was Perfect and had the most wonderful balcony. With the Penthouse suite comes a Butler ( ours was Jonathon) and he is a wonderful, considerate member of the staff. He made sure we always had what we needed. Oswald or OJ as his friends call him made sure our room always had the necessities and more. I miss those two already. Our suite had an Espresso maker in it. My fiance hasn't stopped talking about it and is in the process of trying to find one just like it for our home. Another special mention that I want to get in while talking about our room is Andy the Cruise Director ). I mention him with the room because he is on TV everyday explaining the days activities and doing these game shows that are a riot. I loved this guy he would be so much fun to party with. Great personality and how he holds everything he does together is beyond me. NCL you picked a winner with that man.

Dining-- we only ate at the restaurants with charges and used Room Service. The best ones were Teppanyaki ( Japanese ), Le Bistro ( French ) and La Cucina ( Italian ). We were very disappointed in Cagney's, the Fillet was definitely not what we are used to eating and their staff needs to pop over to Le Bistro to see what a real Fillet looks like. The charges for these restaurants is VERY INEXPENSIVE $10.00 to $25.00 per person but remember there are No Prices on the menu , you order what ever and how much you want. :) We Loved It! We walked thru the Buffet and a few of the areas that were included and were happy we were just walking through. Although the Staff aboard is EVERYWHERE with Hand Sanitizer saying " Happy Happy, Washy Washy" many don't. EWWWW USE IT PEOPLE, OR DON'T COMPLAIN WHEN ONBOARD ILLNESSES STRIKE. IT MOST DEFINITELY WONT BE THIS SHIPS FAULT. I WAS AMAZED AT HOW MANY PEOPLE DON'T WASH THEIR HANDS AND SAY NO TO THE SANITIZER. THAT IS WHY WE DIDN'T EAT IN THE BUFFET AREAS. YUK !!!!

Drinks-- not included but you can buy a "Soda" package which is less expensive than buying individually each day. They sticker your room key and you show it everywhere you go on board. I am not a "Drinker" so to speak to I had maybe one or two at the most a day. You can run up quite a bar bill if you like to drink and are not careful. Drinks run between $5.00 and $7.00.

Cabin Review

Penthouse with Large Balcony

Cabin SF

We had a Penthouse Suite , it was VERY spacious had ample closet and drawer space. I loved the Sofa it was firm yet comfy. I do have one complaint about our room and that was the lack of water pressure. It was not satisfactory to say the least. I was told that was the best it could be. Engineering please work on that. We had a great Balcony, no noise in the hallways. Exceeded our expectations , couldn't be happier and we look forward to our next cruise ( we did put a deposit down) with NCL.
