What a wonderful river cruise on the Douro with Scenic Azure. The service is great and the crew is fantastic. They are there to please you and make your stay as confortable as possible. The crew are Portuguese so this completed perfectly our total immersion in this wonderful and warm loving country. A small country with a great history and an even better furture. During our whole stay, the food was excellent and the wine pairing also. The cabins are confortable and bright. The buses for the excursions are very new. The groups were not too big so it was easy to follow your guide. Our guide Miguel was very interesting and knowledgable. We fell in love with Portugal, the nice and friendly people, the good food, excellent wines and great desserts. We were sad to leave the ship. It was my first experience on a river cruise and I hope it won't be my last.
