Things did not start well. Pre cruise customer service is terrible and pushed me to resenting Celebrity before I even stepped on board. This was my first cruise with Celebrity and at that point it was going to be my last, however my onboard experience certainly changed my mind.
Embarkation at Southampton was a breeze and we were checked in and on board within half hour (if that). Walking around the ship I was already wowed by the stylish interiors and the friendliness of the crew. I immediately started to think that Celebrity was not all that bad after all. Cabin found, cases unpacked, muster station visited and ready for our first on board dinner which was the speciality restaurant, Murano. This was the first of many WOWs when it comes to dining on board Silhouette. Food was A-mazing and such a great start to our 12 night cruise. I highly recommend doing Murano and we took advantage of the first night discount which made it extremely good value.
After discovering some of the bars it was back to the cabin for some much needed sleep after a very tiring day.. but this was not to be! Our cabin was situated above the theatre which we figured would not be an issue as there are no shows past midnight.. however we did not consider rehearsals!! The beats were pumping through the floor so off I went to reception to see what can be done. Annoyingly the rehearsals needed to continue for another 45 mins but as we made it clear we are not wanting this to happen again they agreed to move us in the morning. Not only were we moved but also upgraded to Aqua class which was nice but we did not think that Aqua class would be anything special.. we were certainly wrong!
