The online checkin was easy. The Medallion app worked fine at home. However, on ship it’s another story.

Princess offered free Covid testing in Rome, a very nice service. After testing negative we were guided to the checking area. This area was a mess! There were many different lines that were confusing to most passenger. We were booked on a S3 suite which included priority embarkation. No such line! A Princess employee directed us to a long line where we waited for an hour to check in. We had completed all pre boarding requirements prior to arrival and received the green check in the Medallion app. Bad start!

Cabin was nice. While unpacking we found clothing from the previous passengers in the cabinet drawers. Too bad they weren’t my size. The steward promptly removed them. This was our first rear facing cabin. The rear facing balcony was nice even while the ship was cruising. There was no wind at all. Cabin has a large overhang which provided plenty of shade when it’s warm.
