Firstly I and tens of thousand of others are being 'MIS-SOLD'. The customer is given the opportunity and often pays extra to choose a balcony cabin or similar, only that MSC cannot be bothered to log the details and given a random cabin, yes we are in the computer age. This is a known issue with Cruise Consolidators and happened to us on MSC Seaview in December last year and the Preziosa in April this year when nearly all passengers of all nationalities were not given their chosen cabin on a ship that was only two thirds full, 2200 passengers with a ship capacity of 3500, this resulted in a continual queue at Reception for two days trying to sort it out. Two weeks before departure we were aware our cabin had been changed and placed under a giant overhang near the front and when I contacted MSC they emailed back and said , ' I have checked the availability of this cruise and there are no cabins available at any grade,' very much highlighting the disinterest over this issue.
Not wishing to detract from the 'MIS-SELLING topic. Check in was 5 hours mainly standing; the food on the Preziosa was awful, they even served inedible dried peas in the restaurant and the expensive internet was terrible on the entire 19 cruise, I had to get up at 5.0am to send a few lines.
The Theatre, 'O dear' , why do the acoustics team have the music so loud you cannot hear the performers singing, the speakers are distorted and the floor vibrates and why do the Cruise Directors announce shows so quickly you cannot understand a word they say.
