Sail Date: May 2022
Cabin:

We were on the 30th May sailing and were very disappointed with our cruise to the Greek Islands from Athens ending in Malta.

The Company's booking admin is appalling, we had our agent chase tickets etc and they eventually arrived 3 days before departure, some people on the cruise never received anything.

so little outside space, 8 sun loungers, 8 deckchairs, 8 cabanas between 200+ guests, and no shade, the only place to go was Deck 10 with no atmosphere and no service, the bar was often unmanned and the area in need of cleaning and clearing up. The food was good, but if you hadn't booked a restaurant the minute you got on board you had no chance and like us had to use Elements the only other restaurant. The food was nice, but you were unable to have a table for two, they insisted you 'shared' to encourage guests to ' talk to each other' only tables for 4 or 6 and on 3 nights of our cruise we arrived to be told they were full. It opens at 7, and we arrived at 7.20pm. The only other place to eat was a cafe (pizza, burgers & Pasta). If all the restaurants are full surely their main restaurant should have enough covers to accommodate the rest of the passengers. The most disappointing thing for us was that we didn't have water for 3 days. I understand now that this is an ongoing problem and previous cruises have had the same problem with 3 days of no water. On day two we did not get our water back on (tap and other problems) till gone 6pm.

Cabin Review

Cabin was reasonable, TV on a large mirror at one end unable to angle this so could only watched in the very uncomfortable sofa. Didn't want the duvet just a sheet, but our steward insisted on making the bed with a duvet everyday leaving us a sheet to remake the bed everyday. Towels like cardboard and too few, eventually got more. No curtains only a shutter and if you had to shut it for any reason (sun), it felt like you were in a prison cell. We never got to grips with the lights in the cabin, too many switches and not easily accessed by the bed. We had an electronic bed that no one told us about, we found the controls underneath it the day we left.
