We are frequent cruisers & were happy to be back on the NCL Joy again - last time was a 16 night Panama Canal cruise in 2019. She is still a beautiful ship - so many areas to relax in. Then there was the embarkation…….oh boy not good. We had arranged transfers through NCL from LaGuardia airport- the checkin time I had selected was 10:30 am - we were supposed to be picked up at LGA at 9:00 am - I was assured from the NCL rep I had booked the transfer with that the time would work perfectly- WRONG we waited for our transfer for about 2 hours then had to deal with NYC traffic - not blaming NCL for that though. Got to the cruise terminal around 12:30 & had to deal with utter chaos to get to checkin- I had all our documents ready including our printed approval from the Bermuda government for entry into the country ( Covid clearance). We went from one line to another - I lost track of time -by the time we finally got on board we were exhausted

Cabin was a BB balcony - basic balcony - very clean with enough storage space. Our Cabin Steward Jamel was fantastic- cabin was always well stocked & he was available but not invasive

We found that the shows were the same as the last time we were on board Footloose & Elements - saw both again- great performers. Of course wouldn’t miss the Cavern & the Beatles shows - loved them all. Hubby had us to the Mojito Bar a few evenings - great atmosphere & music
