The way we were treated by Saga Management means we will never travel with Saga again.

Tested at Southampton both LFT and PCR and embarked on Spirit of Adventure. First impressions are very good. The ship was beautiful, the cabin was spacious and well appointed. Public areas are immaculate and staff well trained and attentive.

However, once the ship had set sail, we were informed by the Captain there would be no independent shore visits but we would be tested for the next four days and the situation would then be reviewed. The cynics amongst us could regard this a ploy to discourage anyone from taking up the first time cruisers promise of a full refund if unhappy with the cruise. Undoubtedly had we been informed before embarking we would have cancelled and requested a full refund. After several complaints both verbal and written, we were informed that the safety of guests was paramount, and no compensation would be due.
