Indeed a terrific decision was made in the midst of covid to plan & book this wonderful cruise on the enthusiastic suggestion of our excellent travel agent! From beginning to end we were pampered & spoiled by the staff, and with the ship, the dining, the surroundings & the journey itself including all of the stops, activities & adventures. The ship is beautiful, comfortable & well laid out for ease of use of all of its amenities. Cleanliness is excellent. The cabins are cozy, with wonderful beds & everything that you might need. The staff is Portuguese & every one of them is amazing. When we left we felt like we were saying goodbye to close family members. They exude a wonderful enthusiasm & passion for their country & are most positive ambassadors for Portugal. Ships' activities & presentations were varied, interactive & focused on culture, history, food & port or wine. The bar folks were most creative! Dining was a great experience at every meal with much variety & use of local products & local specialties. Off ship activities were well organized & varied & certainly terrific cultural & educational experiences. The journey itself was a plethora of photographic moments on every side of the river.

We certainly had exceptional value for the cost & would highly recommend this cruise & would not hesitate to once again travel with Scenic. Many thanks to the entire wonderful staff of Scenic Azure!
