Let me first say that we found the boat, its crew and the cruise excellent and enjoyable. That said, Emerald's admin in the UK beforehand left a lot to be desired. A query I sent on 21.3.22 was never answered and, nearer our holiday, they were impossible to contact by phone.

To top it all BA cancelled our flight the day before departure! We lost nearly 1/2 our cruise as a result and didn't board till 2a.m on the Tuesday ( partly due to a hold up at Lyon airport).

The cruise itself ran smoothly and the crew were very helpful, and the cuisine excellent. Read more
