Sail Date: May 2022

This was our first cruise post Covid. My wife and who are both Elite status with Princess were traveling with two other couples. Having cruised with Princess before I had certain expectations about service and the quality of the Princess product.

Embarkation was well organized and we were on the ship within 30 minutes of arrival at the terminal. Providing all of the required documents prior to sailing gave us an arrival time of 11am to start the check in process. Once on board we went to our cabin which was ready for us.

Dining room and food service: We tend to use the dining room for most meals when it is open. Our group requested the same time and table each night at 6:40 pm. There were a few nights where this reservation was not available and the staff was quick to blame the computer system. We found the food and service at all times to be very good. The menu had a nice variety each day for lunch and dinner. Our wait staff was personable and provided great service. My wife and I along with one of the couples tried Sabatini’s specialty restaurant. The service was exceptional but the food was just awful especially for the $25/pp Princess was charging. We did have lunch in the buffet twice and found the selection to be good and fresh. We ate at the outside grill once for lunch and it was as you would expect for burgers and fries.
