My wife and I are on the top loyalty level with Princess Cruises as we have sailed over 16 times with them. Never have we been so utterly disappointed. The dining experience is a disgrace. Prior to our cruise as Elite passengers we were supposed to be able to choose our restaurant and reserve dining times each night by using the MedallionClass app. This we did and we booked the DaVinci restaurant for 7pm each night. However just 3 days prior to embarkation all our booked reservations were cancelled and moved to a restaurant called Botticelli right at the back of the ship. We had originally booked our table at DaVinci as it is located mid ship with much less movement and a more comfortable dining experience.

However when we went to the Botticelli at our revised time of 7.20 pm we were told to join the back of the massive queue so we decided to go back up to the DaVinci and gad to join the massive queue there.

Our waitress was lovely and it appears she spoke with the Maitre’d who was called Michael. He came over to our table and explicitly promised that our party of 4 were going to have the same table at 7.30 pm each evening in the DaVinci Restaurant .
