We went on this cruise as a wedding guest. A few things were frustrating according to us and other (long-time) cruisers. Inability to access app prior to leaving port. Reservation issues (duplicating or not going through to the boat's system) on the app. Minimal options for things to do after 11pm.

As for food, the buffet was great. I wouldn't recommend ordering anything from the complimentary restaurants other than the specials. The every day items or same items that were available at the buffet were significantly better at the buffet. Taste (Savor was closed) was extremely sub-par. The Noodle Bar was phenomenal. Manhattan Room was delicious (but we only ordered the meals that changed each day). O'Sheehans was good for a late night bite and was basic, but tasty pub food.We did a couple of meals at the speciality restaurants (Teppanyaki, Wasabi, and the Brazilian Steakhouse). We booked a later reservation at Teppanyaki, and Warren was amazing, but it was a little weird when over half the tables were empty. Food was phenomenal. Wasabi had great sushi and service. The Brazilian Steakhouse had different reviews/experiences with people in our group. Some people were asked how they like their meat cooked, and others (like us) were told that it was all medium to rare. The salad bar was really good. Getting the meat took a while, but we anticipated that with the reduced capacity. The staff were super friendly though.

I loved that the cruise as only about 50% capacity. However, it makes me unsure if I want to go on a cruise at full capacity. The pool was almost always packed, and cannot imagine what that would be like with twice as many people. The pool area and band were great!

Cabin Review

Loved our setup vs. others. One person's room had the bed right when you walked in, so it made the room feel very small. Ours had the couch first and the bed by the balcony door. This made the room feel spacious and welcoming.

Port Reviews

Harvest Caye

Loved this one! If you have any interest in the wave runner tour, do it! It was fun and you had the freedom to go at your own pace and have as much fun as you wanted along the way!

The pool was really enjoyable and calm.

Costa Maya

This was the best port to get any essentials you may have forgotten or needed. The taqueria there was delicious. Has a really nice pool area that we regret not enjoying.
