We wanted to return to Alaska after going there in 2010 on a Princess cruise. After saving and waiting 2 years to cruise due to Covid we were so excited to cruise again.

Not sure where to start… Disappointment started after we made our final payment and we received the first of many itinerary changes. One received the second itinerary charge while we were flying to Seattle. Then about one a day the remainder of the cruise. The cancellation of Juno was a big one and then cancellation of Icy Point. For a cruise to see Alaska it became clear the only thing we were going to see was the ship.

First shower was rust filled which went all over my husband. Because the ship wasn’t used in 25 months, a detail we learned when boarding, they hadn’t flushed the pipes in our room. It ruined the towel and a dress shirt because he couldn’t get all the rust off. For this we received a 4 hour ordeal of waiting in long lines at customer service and packing and moving rooms. 3 bottles of water and 4 chocolate strawberries.
