My family and I originally booked this cruise in 2019 to sail in 2020. Due to the pandemic, we kept getting pushed back. Finally, in 2022 we were able to sail! We chose the Crown because it was going to Alaska and seemed to be a more intimate ship.

Before the pandemic, the Crown was supposed to receive repairs in dry-dock but it does not appear that it happened. Even before our embarkation, the itinerary changed several times. It was disappointing but our family decided to make the best of it. Our excursions had slid in time so we were happy. Then on the ship, we were informed that yet again our itinerary was changing. All excursions were canceled in Juneau due to this change. It was incredibly frustrating.

The staff on board were all incredibly helpful and friendly. Everyone had a great attitude and we loved being on board! The ship was a little outdated but we had a good time.
