We are seasoned cruisers and decided to try Princess for a second time, since last cruising on the Regal (2014). At the time we were pleased with the quality of food and service and were hoping we'll find the same (or better) with the Caribbean Princess. Unfortunately, this was a huge disappointment in all areas:

Ship was old (it was refurbished in 2019) and it showed with all the plumbing issues they had with toilets. Sink at the entrance to the buffet had a sign, "working on it", for the entire cruise. As a result, people won't wash their hands before going into the buffet, unless they wanted to wait in line to use only sink available.

Medallion is a great concept, but it needs a lot of work. for one, internet cannot support the demands during sea days. It was really frustrating trying to use the medallion and/or internet.

Cabin Review

Oceanview (obstructed view)

Really small. It seems these were crew cabins converted to passenger cabins.

Port Reviews

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Great port with many excursions available for all taste. Will come visit again!!!

San Juan

It was good to be back in Puerto Rico after many years we visited there. Excursions availabilities were limited.

Grand Turk

Fantastic beaches !!! will come back again!!!
