We decided to go on this cruise because on son and his family were going. It was a short 5 night cruise out of Bayonne NJ. When we entered the parking lot- it was mobbed- other cruise ships using it- we had to go to a distant outdoor lot. A walk from the terminal. They did have a shuttle bus if you wanted to wait for it. We entered the very mobbed terminal and check-in was smooth and easy. We proceeded to the promenade. No social distancing-most not wearing any masks. We proceeded to the buffet for lunch. We had to go on a long line- felt like a school cafeteria. Lunch was so disappointing , not a great way to start a cruise. Many items that should be hot were either cold or lukewarm. We then proceeded to our stateroom. Our stateroom on the ninth deck was a decent size (junior suite). Furniture was old- lots of rust in the bathroom and balcony. The bed, which usually has a spread throw, was barren and not very inviting- During the course of the cruise the toilet wouldn't flush and we had to have it repaired! One nice thing about the Jr. Suitesis the walk in closet and lots of storage. We also had a lavazza coffee machine. However not outlet to plug it in! The cabin attendant, brought us a long extension cord. However the coffee pot didn't make cups of coffee only espresso.

The entertainment was very limited. The first night we had a comedian- he wasn't funny- the second night we were supposed to have a production show that got canceled (Covid?) we didn't see the ice show- but typically they are entertaining. Music around the ship was good. Live bands and singers. The kids loved the flow rider and spent hours on it. We had lunch at Johnny Rockets twice and it was good. Typical Johnny rockets. They had all kinds of food including pizza, at the promenade during the day and evening. If you wanted room service, they had a upcharge. Except in our jr. suite we could order a continental breakfast free not sure if available to all cabins. The diamond lounge also serviced food at various times during the day. Enjoyed time spent in that lounge. However, the coffee machine kept breaking and so many people tried to fix it throughout the day on multiple days! Since I had a coffee card it really didn't impact me- but many guests did complain. Clearly this ship needs a total renovation- or should be sold. Departure was smooth and efficient.

In the future, we will limit our cruising to Oasis Ships- we really love the Harmony but will forget about the old ships.
