We boarded Seaview at Genoa for the 7 day Med cruise, visiting Naples, Sicily, Malta, Barcelona and Marseilles. Having previously cruised with MSC back in 2019 on Magnifica, we were keen to try them again as we had a very good experience back then, plus MSC were offering a hefty discount for NHS staff, and when I called to book, they also upgraded our drinks package.

Embarkation in Genoa was extremely relaxed - we came on the train from Pisa, and a short walk from the station to the cruise terminal. Took around 45 minutes to board, and we were invited to visit the buffet for lunch. This was initially disappointing, but we later realised that there were more dishes available "around the corner", so not too bad.

Cabin - we had a balcony cabin on deck 14 which we thought was well laid out and certainly had sufficient space for our belongings. Enjoyed the balcony as we had breakfast delivered on a few non-shore days. our cabin steward was also a star - nothing too much trouble for him and we were always greeted with a smile.
