We chose this cruise because of the port intensive itinerary of Croatia. This was only the second voyage of the newly acquired ship and the staff did a remarkable job. We didnt notice any launching issues. The quality of the food was a big surprise and exceeded expectations. It compared favorably with Seabourn which is high praise. We enjoyed the entertainment led by the renowned cruise director Eric. We had about 80% occupancy so that meant there always was space in public areas. We didn't take any ship tour excursions because the ports were easily done on your own. Embarking and disembarking were easy but Ravenna is a very inconvenient place to get to. There were no taxis at disembarkation because the port is about 25 minutes out of town. This may change as the port usage increases over the season.
We had taken 2 Azamara cruises years ago but plan to become a regular based on this experience.
The atandard cabins all are small but efficient. The bathroom shower curtain is infamously annoying.
