I chose this particular cruise and cruise line for the Montego Bay and Grand Cayman itinerary. Only after getting on board were we notified that one of the engines was not working and the Grand Cayman port was completely canceled. And the time in Montego Bay and Cozumel were cut in half. We were given a $50 cruise credit to make up for it. What an insult after spending $2,000 on the cruise itself. Their customer service is atrocious. Pre cruise hold times were around 30-45 minutes and Post Cruise customer care is only an email address and a statement saying it will take a long time to hear back from anyone. I can’t even get a phone number for the vacation protection insurance I purchased through Carnival. While on board I had been over charged several times on my on board account. In talking with other passengers this seemed to be a common occurrence. Mine added up to $450 of double charges!! As for the ship itself, very nice, plenty to do, good shows. The food though, compared to Royal Caribbean or MSC was pretty awful.

All in all, given the rotten customer service and lack of any decent restitution for missing Grand Cayman and cut time in Montego Bay and Cozumel, I will not cruise with Carnival again.
