My first ever cruise. Was very much looking forward to the advertised excellent service, fabulous entertainment and delicious food. This ship failed on all points. The service in the majority of the restaurants was very slow, receiving your bottle of wine half way through your main course is not good enough. The entertainment was basic and lasted just 40 minutes per show. The britannia restaurant food was OK but nothing special. The Kings Court for daily breakfast was nothing better than a poor quality canteen. Everyone getting locked out of their stateroom on the first night due to a computer glich with no staff to resolve and a queue of passengers snaking down the corridor waiting for the Pursers Desk is not what you'd expect on a ship advertised as being good quality. When we approached the desk to discuss various issues that we had we were told that we'd receive a call from the customer service manager. 3 days later (she's very busy, apparently) she called and the issues were discussed but no resolution was reached except that the massive service charge automatically charged to every passengers card was cancelled as the manager accepted that service was bad, due to lack of staff. Did anyone else who had the same experience have the charge cancelled? I could go on about the most disappointing trip but needless to say I would not recommend this ship or cruise line and, would I cruise in the future... Its doubtful. So very disappointed
