Review for the Eastern Caribbean Cruise on Riviera

Our Oceania Riviera cruise was the second one in 2 years and the first being back with Oceania.

Without any doubt, this is our favourite ship and cruise line.

The Riviera is as beautiful as ever, especially the very well done enlargement of Baristas (deck 14). It has been converted to a high class confiteria style a la Buenos Aires of the 1960’s. It is now a destination rest stop rather than a quick espresso or take out venue. The petite seating area outside on the deck is exquisitely private and indeed very peaceful and enjoyable with a very friendly and helpful staff. Worth mentioning are the exquisite biscotti, don't miss it!!

Cabin Review

Penthouse Suite

The penthouse suite showed off its new furnishings well and the walking closet is far superior to Regent’s larger and more costly Concierge suite. However several changes would improve the enjoyment of this class of suite. A second flat screen TV monitor is needed for the sitting area, the bedding quilts too easily slip off the bed and the very oversized oval bathroom sink would be better served with two small ones. And finally, the shower enclosure needs a vertical handle bar for user safety. Grabbing onto the shower bar is dangerous as its diameter is too small to grip it securely and is very smooth and slippery.
