We chose this Cruise because it was short and close to our home. The embarkation was fast and easy. When we enter our stateroom we were disappointed in the dullness and size. There were very few places to store things and the bathroom you could sit on the toilet brush your teeth and almost take a shower at the same time. Only for small glass shelves to store your things. Our balcony was about 6 ft long and the width of our stateroom. It had rotting wood, rusting metal, and loose bolts. Oh, do not pack magnets as the walls of the ship are not magnetic. No storage there.

Next was the food. Very disappointing. The best food on the ship was Shaquille O'Neal's chicken and Guy Fieri's burgers. They are a don't miss. Do not and I repeat do not order pizza as the crust tastes like cardboard and if they put 1 oz of sauce and 1 oz of cheese you are lucky. The main dining room for Anytime dining had no tablecloths and the food was equivalent an equality to Denny's coffee shop. The best thing there was the lava cake for dessert. But also surprisingly the rolls before dinner were extremely good and fresh.

As for the shows they were as loud or louder than the loudest Rock concert you have ever been to but in a room that was as small as a 200 seat theater. The piano bar was so loud even with the door closed you could hear it two decks below and in the comedy club where the comedians were excellent. They even complained about the piano player.

Cabin Review

Very small. No charging Outlets by the bed. Showed its age by not having up-to-date amenities. The TV was even small so watching movies was not so great. Closet space was taken up by the refrigerator and storage of some Linens and safety vests. The beds we're very comfortable. The pillows you had to fight with to get them to be comfortable.

Port Reviews

Catalina Island (California)

Catalina is a joy to visit because there are very few cars and only golf carts and a few trucks. The people are extremely friendly even with all the tourists who visit them every day. The city is clean and extremely walkable. The shops are a delight.
