Hmmm, hard to know where to begin.
Embarkation was 2 hours late, we were told a mishap on the locks leading into Lake Ontario caused the ship to be delayed. Okay, I'll buy that one.
The ship was 2 hours late going through the Welland Canal, and then another half hour delayed due to a medical issue with an elderly passenger. The Captain insisted on leaving Port Colborne on time, even though he could easily have left a couple of hours later and still made it to our next stop (Cleveland) on time. This caused our tour of the Niagara Falls to be cut short significantly and unnecessarily.

The cabin was very small, and if you dropped the soap in the shower you'd have to step out of the shower to be able to pick it up. The ship was VERY noisy at night, especially on Deck 1. The direct clutch-coupled Diesel engines had a distinct vibration well felt on Deck 1, and the thrusters were extremely noisy and vibrated you quite a bit. No sleeping past the point the Captain used the thrusters! The stabilizer fins would bang loudly all night long in any kind of a seaway. It was very hard to get a good nights sleep.
