I know many people don't understand the seriousness of food related illnesses and allergies.

When I alter a dish or ask for the special menu I expect an eyeroll and an "in my day..." comment from those around me. What I don't expect is to be treated like the staff is feeding scaps to a bilge rat.

I was fed succotash with asian sweet & sour sauce, a raw onion taco, cold crunchy red beans...the list is long and the pictures are disgusting. Just to clarify, those were my entire meal, not a side dish. Read more
