Cabin: Large Balcony

We booked a family cruise to celebrate my parents 65th wedding anniversary, Mother's Day and my birthday. We had 4 large balcony staterooms and a suite. Cost was approx. $10,000 (very expensive) a stateroom with the suite being more. We stayed in the large balcony next to the suite at the front of the boat. Our view was partially obstructed or smaller than the others because we were in the corner. Our cruise included unlimited drinks (up to $15 per drink) if you could get them, they valued the package at over $800 a person, not sure how anyone could get to this value You were charged for gratuities and sales tax while in port for each drink. Our cruise included 2 specialty dinners, with the closures of all but 2 restaurants it was impossible to book reservations, and $50 off shore excursion for one person per stateroom, but with the cancellations this was not a perk. Most specialty restaurants were closed, other food restaurants closed, long waits for drinks, ran out of bar necessities, low staff, limited onboard activities, cancelled shore excursions. Shore excursions were cancelled within 24 hours of the excursions, with no help to find something not sponsored by the ship. Cruise life ended at 10pm including the use of the pool. At the end of our cruise we had credits on our account from cancelled shore excursion, they would not place the money back on our credit card, rather we had to wait in long line for cash back or they would mail us a check in a few weeks. We have been on several cruises, with different cruise lines and this has been our first disappointment.
