I choose this cruise because it itinerary was Barcelona to Venice and Oceania reputation.
Oceania knew the ship would not port in Venice as advertised but waited to inform passengers just a few weeks before sailing. The April itinerary had already been changed. Venice excursion information was delayed until after the deadline to cancel. My Oceania rep assured me there would be several selections but ultimately there were only three with four hours of transit between Venice and Trieste (the port) cutting into time in Venice.
Excursion description are lacking details needed for those who need mobility issues. Walking distances do not include distance between pickup/dropoff and the ship. This was a considerable distance in multiple ports.
Though we paid for our cabin up front we learned other passengers were upgraded to our level or above free of additional cost. This is disappointing and wrong.
