I chose this cruise specifically for the Flowrider and the Ripcord by iFly. Some things you should be aware of: in the mornings, if the weather is a bit too chilly, they will not open the Flowrider. I thought it was warm enough, but the crew members would have to be out there all morning in wet clothes, so that's understandable. However, they won't extend the operating hours in the afternoon to compensate. As for the Ripcord, try to reserve a complementary spot through the app as soon as you board. You'll get to fly for about one minute (after 20-30 minutes prep time). If all the spots are reserved, keep trying throughout the week, and some spots might become available. You can only reserve a complementary Ripcord spot once during your cruise, but you can pay for a regular session for $30 where you will get to fly for two minutes total.
I was in a solo cabin. The doorway was in a bit of an awkward place, as it shares an entranceway from the hallway with a junior suite. The solo cabin itself was tiny, with the bed taking up almost the whole room. However, the bathroom was actually a bit larger than I expected. I believe there was enough storage space for a typical solo traveler. Unfortunately, the "virtual balcony" screen almost never worked, and I gave up on asking guest services to fix it. It can be difficult if you want to order room service, but there is a very small table and stool. There is a also a fridge and a safe.
As for the food: the Windjammer buffet was alright, but trying to find a place to sit was a nightmare. I would often return to my spot after getting a spoon or something to drink to find out that my plate had been cleared, even though I hadn't touched my food! Tip: go to the Solarium Bistro for breakfast or lunch. They have basically the same buffet items as the Windjammer, but you probably won't have the same problems with seating.
