Sail Date: May 2022

We wanted to travel to Bermuda. This port was about 6 hours away from our home so we chose this ship. Getting to Port and parking was very easy. Check in for loading was painless. Then we began experiencing issues. Upon arrival at our room we were greeted with fans and furniture upside down. There had been a leak and no one thought we needed to know. We looked for someone to assist us for about an hour. Finally we were told that we would have to go to guest services. Went there at 2:00 and they told us to come back at 4:00. Went back at 4 and were told to return at 530. Back at 530 and were told to return after the ship sails. Still no room. Finally after sailing we received room assignment. They were waiting on no-shows. Our new room was under a loud venue, not the quiet room we had chosen. Ship response was oh well. Food on this ship is hit or miss. Coffee is really bad so if you really need good tasting coffee, you must purchase at the Coffee bar. Figure that. Maybe drink tea using a tea bag. The food staff appears to be disorganized and new. We heard someone asking about choices at Chopsticks and they were told to look up menus on phone. We looked and it wasn't available. So be prepared to visually check what's available. Best food was the Quatro pizza. We were signed up for Mytime dining but after hearing from others we will not try the dining room. Rumor has it that you sign up then wait well past your reservation before getting in. One of dress up nights we saw lots of people eating in other venues due to long waits. We like the size of this ship, but not sure we will sail again on it. We have traveled on the Sunshine with very few issues. We are Not first time cruisers so we do know that problems happen but Carnival had a grand opportunity to wow us and chose the opposite, thus the truthful review. If you want to go to Bermuda, I believe Royal Caribbean goes there.

Cabin Review

We were moved to this cabin. Not our reserved room.
