12 the my holiday app worked very well for us, when booking the mdr restaurants  it always said there were 7-12 people waiting  but we would be called with in a few minutes (you then have 15 minutes to get to the restaurant ) 

13 on the my holiday app under cabin services there is a map of iona 

14  depending on which network and plan you are on it is possible to use your own wifi in Norway

 



All the ports that we were able to stop at were fairly mid sized towns with a good selection of shops

Norway is expensive compared to the uk expect to pay £9-10 for a coffee and a hot chocolate in the cafes 

Norway is also a fairly cashless place we used our cards for all purchases and had no issues 

Obviously the first language is Norwegian but English is widely spoken as well 

Ports of call

Stavanger 

This is a very picturesque town the ships dock in the main harbour which is just a short walk into the town

For a different place to visit we can highly recommend the canning museum costs 100kr and very interesting 

Stavanger is a nice place to wander around, good selection of stores and bars but not many cafe's 

Aalesund 

We had done research prior to visiting so we knew that a place called racoon did coffee and hot chocolate.50 cover charge per person) well worth it though

10 taste 360 great at lunchtime for pizzas and burgers 

11 we found the entertainment on the whole to be very good  (our favourite was classical graffiti) if you plan it right it is possible to have a meal in the mdr, go to headliners, go to the skydome  and see an act in the clubhouse all in the same night !!
