Booked this cruise back in December 2020 with Credit card points that were expiring. Got a Crown Loft Suite. Cancelled a few times because of Covid concerns, but finally sailed. Still wasn't crazy about covid levels but I came up with a plan.

You used to be able to arrive at port early if you have a suite. We were given a 1:30 time slot, and could arrive an hour early as a suite customer. It took us 20 minutes to get from home to within a mile of the port, and another 50 minutes to drive the last 3/4 mile. There were not enough people unloading luggage from cars, and everyone was backed up in traffic. There is usually a suite line in the Terminal, but that was also very long. Rather than having a separate line for those with mobility issues, they keep cutting wheel chairs into the Pinnacle/Suites line, making a long check-in process even longer.

I was concerned anticipating a crowded life boat drill, but they have changed the process, and made it quite simple. You watched a video at the Aqua Theater (outdoors), proved that you knew how to use a life jacket, and you were "checked in" as doing your drill -- no crowds. Went back to the room and unpacked and our trip began!

Cabin Review

Crown Loft Suite with Balcony

Crown Loft Suite was just amazing! The high balcony ceiling made the balcony more luxurious. Bathrooms were nice, and bed was very comfortable. There was, however, a very annoying whooshing sound coming from the vent in the ceiling, which kept me awake every night.
