Sail Date: May 2022

This was our very first cruise and we waited over 2 years due to Covid. We went with my wife’s two cousins and their husbands. As we approached the cruise date the itinerary changed due to the ship needing maintenance and could only travel at a slower speed. Ports were changed and some eliminated. We were disappointed because now we were to spend more time traveling and not time in ports. Juneau was completely eliminated including the trams excursion we paid for. Skagway with less time in port the train trip was shortened so that we could not site-see after but had to run to re-board the ship. Ketchikan was added but cut short so that we only had time to browse the port souvenir shops. Everything they changed was combined with refunds to be used by the end of the year. We don’t want to cruise again. This was a once in a lifetime retirement trip with relatives. The ship was in dis-repair as it could only limp along at a slower speed giving us less time in ports. There was a plumbing issue leaving horrible smells in hallways and our room. After sitting during Covid you would think the ship should have been in top shape due to time for repairs. Just an overall disappointment hearing other travelers also complaining just ruined the atmosphere.

Cabin Review

Room was nice other than sewer smells. Some near us changed rooms due to issue.

Port Reviews

Glacier Bay

The weather was perfect at Glacier Bay. Beautiful sights from the ship.
