Have been on this ship prior to pandemic and it was wonderful. Booked at last minute and was excited that we could once again sail on this great ship. Surprise, Surprise!!! Was aware that ship was having some so called minor issues with propulsion but was not ready for actual experience. We left Galveston ahead of Carnival Breeze but suddenly, the Breeze was far ahead of us and knew propulsion issues were more problematic than realized. When it was announced that we were skipping Grand Cayman due to "TECHNICAL ISSUES" lie about the ship became reality. Due to slow speed of ship the time ashore at Jamaica and Cozumel was limited and ashore time felt rushed. Do not know what problem was a Cozumel but watched as several HUNDRED passengers waited in long line on the quay to get back aboard the Vista. No reason was given and no one on the ship seemed to care. Food in MDR was below average and on two evenings, sent food back it was either under or over cooked or cold. Do not know why Carnival has any dress rules for MDR in the evening as people tend to wear whatever they want. Is so nice to seated and watch while some person wearing a thin overdress garment wearing a THONG BATHNING SUIT with the majority of her rear end handing out is allowed to come in. Likewise, people wearing sports shirts, hats, shower flops and dirty clothes are allowed to be seated. Disembarkation was a disgrace and Carnival needs to evaluate this ship. Out of cabin by 8AM, sat on hard floor and stood for over 3 1/2 ours before getting off ship at 11:5am. Crew was not responsive, provided no information but were simply nonexistent. Have been 27 cruises and this is by far the worst ever experienced. Am book on new Jubilee in 2023 but am reevaluating this decision. Shame on Carnival for not telling everyone the truth. People may not like the truth but they can live with it and not the lies.
