My wife and I sailed out of Tampa for our anniversary on May 2, 2022.
There is always something going on, on the ship, however, the cruise was rather boring.
We are not big partiers. On our past Carnival Cruises, this was never an issue.
Cabin Review
The aft Balcony was nice. Balcony larger than standard balconies, BUT the water sounds were deafening.
Port Reviews
Cozumel
While in Cozumel we did an excursion called "Dolphin experience with unlimited food and drink" at Dolphinaris.
The staff there is amazing. Some acquaintances from home were on another sailing, while there had a medical emergency. We showed up while the ambulance was still there, we got to see them, which was good for them. They were scared and stressed. Seeing my wife calmed them down, and it allowed us to explain what they needed to do moving forward.
The response of the staff saved this man's life. He had a heart attack, and had emergency surgery that afternoon.
Grand Cayman (Georgetown)
We walked around this port. It was beautiful. We had fun, however we didn't venture too far away from the ship.
Next time, we will leave the pier area and actually explore.
