We consider ourselves as easily pleased and fair - so here goes

The boarding at Civitavecchia (Rome) was seamless at our allocated time. We had all our paper work ready and check-in complete, with COVID test etc, which I think helped as there were plenty of folk sitting around waiting. If you do decide to get a test there, yes, as advertised, it will cost $65. There were places apparently in the town area that did it for 15 euros.

This was our first Norwegian trip having been on Princess and RCCL before. The ship does look a little tired in places. This isn't helped by the orange fluid being leaked over the decks, mainly at the back, in the exhaust smoke (warning this will get on your clothes).

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

The cabin, 9146 balcony, was a little smaller than we are used to and at times moving past each other is an issue due to certain parts being quiet narrow. Nice big balcony which did overlook the one immediately below as deck 8 is wider than 9. There was no one in it when we were there but would have easily been able to make friends if there were. We quite liked the separate shower and toilet
