The cruise started in Seward. Stopped in Juneau. Skagway. Icy straight. Haines. Hoonah and Ketchikan ending in Vancouver. Amazing independently booked excursions. But. When I checked in. The bathroom toilet was full of poop. Room has not been cleaned. The room has smelled like sewer the entire trip. The food is pretty bad except the specialty restaurants have been great. It’s mostly very old people. The evening entertainment is geared to the 70 plus age crowd. Alaska has been amazing. I’ve stayed off ship as much as they let you. But I don’t enjoy being on this ship. It would be an ok mode of transportation if the room didn’t smell like sewer and there was edible food. The places to get any sort of food close at 9pm. After that you’re out of luck. I’d recommend bringing plenty of snacks on this ship. Also. It’s very cold but they don’t have bedspreads or blankets. They brought me a third sheet. I would have brought my own blanket if I’d known they don’t have those. Lots of people roaming about coughing. I just hope I’ve steered clear enough to test negative before I fly home. I won’t cruise again. This was my first and it will be my last.

Smells like sewer.

Port Reviews

Juneau

I did the helicopter to a glacier to dog sled which was incredible. Truly magical. Highly recommend. Then I did the tram up mount Roberts. It was ok. Then I did a whale watching tough through rc which was my least favorite excursion.

Ketchikan

Best town ever. I did the float plane to misty fjords through island wings. Complete magic. Perfect.

Skagway

I did the hike with float trip through dyea. It was amazing. 5 stars.

Seward

Major marine orca cruise. Saw so many orcas. It was so fun ! Loved it !

Icy Strait

I did an independent whale watching tour. We saw so many whales up close. 4 at one time. It was truly amazing.
