This was as described. Mostly Americans from the south on board. Very casual. Despite dining room dress code, people in shorts, bathing suits, and baseball hats. Lots of drinking and people complaining about being cut off after 15 drinks per day. People standing in the pools all day drinking. Hardly a mask in sight except the staff. I was not one of the smart few wearing one and I brought home a souvenir conch and covid. I think a lot of people on board were not reporting symptoms. (my symptoms started on debarkation day) Only heard of 2 people isolating. There was lots of coughing in the crowds by the end of the cruise. I liked how everything was online. The activities, menus, restaurant booking, etc. I knew in advance that Nassau was going to have 4 ships in port and it was a gong show. Unless you have an excursion, don't bother. We were told Cabbage beach was the best so crowded into a shared cab. It was not a nice beach at all. Have to pay for old discarded lounge chairs. Sand is gross. Can't swim in the ocean. Waves were awful. Saw a drunk woman almost drown but got saved by 4 brave people. Key West was awesome as usual. Spent time at Fort Zachary Taylor park. It was awesome. Beach and water was beautiful. Rented a golf cart. Did the Jeep Tour in Freeport. It was ok. Beach was ok. Not an off-road adventure. Ocean Cay was a nice beach day.

Was this a nice fancy cruise? Not by a long shot but we went in knowing that and it was a little more casual than expected given it was 8 days. But no problem getting spa appointments. Prices were super high. Good comedians on board except the one who supported hitting children and was mean to some passengers. The dance/musical performances were typical of cruises. Food was not fancy but caters to the clientele. Good burgers, pizza, etc. Buffet was subpar. Not a huge fresh selection. Dining room was pretty good. Ordered ala carte steak from the steakhouse for added $23 and it was no better than the reg steak on the menu. Bought sushi a couple times. It was pretty good. Had the pool to myself for the first couple hours every day. Too refreshing for some so people waited for the sun to hit. We've done lots of cruises and went in with lesser expectations so we weren't disappointed.

Cabin Review

Balcony cabin seemed smaller than other lines but the 3rd bed was plenty long enough. Hard as rock but better than soft.
