Sail Date: Apr 2022
Cabin: Aft-facing Balcony Stateroom
Panama Canal transit. New canal uses tugs vs tracked mules to keep vessels centered in the lock.
Evening conclusion of entire canal transit on Panama City/Pacific side.
US Coast Guard cutter making darkened ship/nighttime transit through canal. Wonder why?

Pluses:

• Ship furnishings, decor, layout, cleanliness.

• Theatre entertainment: Kinky Boots show, Beatles Invasion concert, Choir of Man show, Back in the Day Band concert, and comedians Julie Barr, Lucas Bohn, and Scott Wyler all terrific.

Cabin Review

Aft-facing Balcony Stateroom

Cabin No 15280.

Great view from stern.

Generally quiet from above deck noise.

At higher ship speeds, felt erratic vibrations from azipod propellors, which proved not conducive to falling/staying asleep; more like someone was gently shaky bed to wake you up.

Ample storage for two weeks worth of clothing and accessories for two people.

Excellent mood lighting.

TV pivots to enable viewing from bed or couch.

Safe security code entry pad defective, alerted cabin steward accordingly on first day, never fixed.
