Costa sent people to the wrong port. You don't start the embarkation process in Port of Marghera/ Venice like a lot of people thought.  You start it in the port of Tronchetto. Families,  old couples,  me and  my husband living our honeymoon,  all lost in the other side of Venice. We actually only spent money with a night in tronchetto because we thought we had to travel all the way to the port of marguera. If I knew that our bus would arrive 5 minutes walk from the place the embarkation actually starts,  we would've saved more than 300 with hotel expenses, etc .

In the ship: couldn't sleep. The two cabins on the first floor are really noise. The cabin 1254 I could hear the crew slamming the doors the whole night.  Cabin  1234 you can hear the loud music from the grand bar. Then, with hours of lack of sleep plus a lot of  stress,  they moved me to the 7th floor which the noise runs from one cabin to the next one (could hear my neighbours TV on until 1 am).

On our "useful information about disembarkation" we mentioned to the personal that we were sent to a wrong port and would like to know if costa would transfer us to tronchetto against (even though it says marguera). The personal said we were  going to stay in port of marguera but it was wrong again. Costa transfer us back to port of tronchetto.  Outside the cruise,  on our way to the city, we found many people lost. They were asking us which port they were supposed to go. They were lost like us and many others one week ago. Costa staff didn't pick up any of our phone calls when we were in need of help! Talking to other passengers,  they said that they only knew they had to go to port of tronchetto because their travel agency informed them that,  and not Costa!
