A very fair review based on our actual experiences.

Biggest gripe. We chose this cruise to see the Fjords within Norway. The port of Olden was skipped completely due to 50mph winds. So although the cruise was advertised as “Norwegian Fjords” – we didn’t even get to see any with the skipping of the Olden port. The ship also did not cruise through Innvikfjorden NOR Nordfjord therefore we saw no Fjords at all on our trip. The entire purpose of the cruise effectively redundant. At no point prior to the trip was there even a hint that this could happen nor made clear to anyone. Simply scandalous.

Most of the excursions were fully booked before we even boarded the ship – a woefully inadequate amount of places on excursions for such a large ship. Another chance to see the Fjords gone…

Cabin Review

I picked 8126 and found it a good choice. On the promenade deck so near the action but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet.

I prefer an inside due to cost and sleep quality - you only sleep there after all. It was snug but difficult to fault. No drawers but more then enough shelves and storage areas, some of it cleverly designed to maximise space.

I had no issue with this cabin.
