The ship was nice and well kept. The crew in the dining room and cabin service did a good job. Check in was easy and quick. We had The Key option and I would definately recommend it. The serving sizes in the dining room have been reduced quite a bit most times my husband as well as other passengers around us in the dining room requested a second entree The problem we had with this cruise was the lack of the crews or securities involvement in issues. This cruise had an awful crowd of partying young college kids who spent a good deal of time on deck very rowdy and very drunk. The girls were barely dressed and at times topless and suggestively dancing by the main pool drink in one hand and taking selfies with the other. Many passengers left and escorted the little kids away from the area. There should have been crew member involvement to bring these kids in line as their behavior made it unenjoyable for a lot of people including us. There was no dress code enforced anywhere including the dining room and casino where people thought it was ok to wear swimsuits or other inappropriate attire for the places that required certain attire. After speaking to fellow passengers who have done this cruise regularly it seems the people on the short cruises are more partying however this particular one was off the charts. Shame on RC for allowing these things to ruin other guests vacation. Not recommended for anyone looking for a relaxed cruise and highly recommended for someone with no respect for other people The food was ok nothing fantastic but doable but the dining crew were outstanding. Did the Taste of Royal which we enjoyed but was a little confused as to why we were given a receipt expecting gratuity when we had already paid that when we booked the lunch. Not complaining just felt pressured to retip and didn’t think that was very nice slip in for them to do. We normally add on tips to the crew that took care of us in the dining room or cabin by choice but felt the “expectation” for more was obvious and not right
