Saved for a long time for this once in a lifetime experience and booked 18 months in advance and planned each excursion only to have it fall completely apart 2 days before we left. First a cancelled excursion then “Due to scheduled engine maintenance” the itinerary changed and we lost a port and another excursion but replaced by another port. Then a change itinerary again and lost another port but an original port was put back on but at a shorter length at port and now no booked excursion. When we finally get to Canada it’s dark and there are no tours scheduled through Princess anymore and the port is sketchy and no help from the crew as to what we can do for the very short 3 hours we were there. Then due to time issues all excursions were cancelled. For all of this last minute change we were offered 20% off our next cruise if we book by the end of the year and cruise by the end of next year. They should refund at least half of our sailing fee for all this madness. Disappointed really isn’t the best description because we did see the beauty of Alaska but I could’ve flown there and done what Princess ended giving me for my hard earned money.
